It seemed to Kazuma Kiryu that his days in the service of the Tojo clan were long gone. Leaving old conflicts in the past, he lived a peaceful life with Haruka Sawamura, a young girl he took into his care. It took one shot to break this idyll. Someone killed Yukio Terada, the fifth head of the Tojo clan. War is approaching, and the legendary Dragon of Dojima will have to return to the life with which he so wanted to tie.

To reconcile the warring clans, Kiryu will have to travel to Osaka, in the Sothenbori area - but Ryuuji Goda, the Dragon of Kansai, is firm in his intention to start a war. Only one dragon can rule in this world.
