• Do not play the same game twice: Play in an absolute sandbox, where each game has its own individual map, unique worlds and new difficulties - all on a massive scale. Play against 16 to 100 opponents.
• Many paths to victory: Military victories, cultural dominance, technological ascension, or political alliance - there are more than one path to victory.
• Story mode: Move to a world where the action takes place in the 23rd century; live yourselves the 20-year-old story arch behind the rebellion of mankind.
• Massive technology tree: Explore the technology tree across its entire width and depth. Each faction in the game has its own individual specializations. Your choice determines how you play and win.
• Your own settings for fractions & ships: Create from scratch your civilization, which has your chosen appearance, ships, technology, and even have the opportunity to choose how the AI ​​will use them.
• Multiplayer: For the first time, Galactic Civilizations has become a game with the possibility of multiplayer mode and full support for their own civilizations stored in multiplayer games and much more.
