56. Option 1 The optical density of standard solutions
Uploaded: 05.08.2019
Content: 56-1.rar 21,07 kB
Product description
56. Option 1
The optical density of standard solutions of acidic red and acid blue containing 0.0500 mg / ml of dye was measured at l = 1.0 cm, λeff = 500 nm: A500, red = 0.250, A500, syn = 0.540 and at λeff = 440 nm: A500, red = 0.740, A500, syn = 0.380.
A portion of the dye solution with a volume of 10.00 ml was diluted with water in a volumetric flask with a capacity of 100.00 ml and the optical density was measured in a cuvette with l = 1.0 cm at the indicated wavelengths.
Calculate the concentration (g / l) of dyes, if 1) A500 = 0.320, A440 = 0.650
